UV 601 ENGLISH
Series : Monday ( P.M ) Weeks: 39 to 5
Duration : 16 lessons ( 4 ECTS )
Location and organisation : Foreign Language Dept. of each school organising
“dominante” subject.

Today’s engineers must be able to work in an international context, therefore
proficiency in English is absolutely necessary.
Within the framework of ISAA studies, students who have not reached a good post-intermediate
level will be required to attend the UV 601.
It is equally possible for students to attend either German ( click on
UV 600) or Spanish (
pulsar UV 602 )
( 4 ECTS ) open only to non beginners.
Each group will comprise a maximum of 15 students.
Objectives and methods:
Improving communication skills in all fields :
- Especially oral skills involving interviews, negotiation, IAA
and other professional areas .
- Cultural themes will be included ( cinema, current affairs…)
according to each group and its level.
Assessment:
- Continuous assessment and participation

Home projects ( preparing a talk, discussion..)
2 UV de langues sont cumulables.
Les ECTS correspondants sont décomptés dans le respect du règlement intérieur de
l'établissement qui délivrera le diplôme à l'élève. Il convient de noter, en
particulier, que les UV de langues ne procurent pas d'ECTS aux élèves inscrits à
l'INA P-G.

à l'ISAA dans une dominante organisée par un professeur de l'ENSIA ou ayant un

Pour valoriser ses connaissances, il est préférable de
pouvoir se référer sur le CV aux résultats obtenus lors de tests organisés par
des organismes indépendants.
En particulier, le BULATS a été retenu par l’INA
P-G parce qu’il existe avec les mêmes exigences dans les 3 langues et qu’il
teste les compétences dans le domaine professionnel. Le
résultat minimum doit être de 70/100.
